Cinderella for us all

We have 18 great versions of Cinderella that the 4th and 5th graders made. We had so much fun creating them and even more sharing them with the school. You can watch all of these videos on my YouTube channel. http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLVhOUzNDaCdUqqt_08AW9kV5ccjHzagPL

Nature poems

4th grade went outside for inspiration today. We were entertained by a flock of noisy birds and a adventurous bunny. This is a great warm up for our field trip tomorrow to MU's Campus. We will use the columns, ponds and fountains to spark our creativity.

Bio-Poems

Guest author Sydney
In class we are working on bio-poems we love spending time on our writing. Today's poem was all about feelings and taking the time to make it good, with great word choices. We have really enjoyed sharing, here is an example.

It's all about the slippers

We started our theater study on Cinderella today. We will be looking at the classic story through the ages and comparing the folk tales in a variety of different cultures. This will be a 3 week project culminating with a student written play.

First Day!

The fourth and fifth graders are having a blast setting up and learning all about the new rooms. Big smiles from the newly formed classes.
